It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 15 years since the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center opened its doors to the Maryland community. We are honored to have shared in your most memorable events and to continue to serve as the central hub for alumni on campus.
In the past 15 years we have:
- Hosted 16,218 events
- Celebrated 553 alumni weddings
- Enshrined 67 hall of famers in the Center's Rotunda
- Added 12,637 names on the Frann G. & Eric S. Francis Lifetime Member Wall
- Cheered for the Terps at 60 football tailgates
- Installed 3,128 bricks & pavers on the grounds of the Center
- Poured 48,650 flutes of champagne

While the event landscape has been altered this year, we fall back on the imagination that brought the Riggs Alumni Center to life. With the versatility and flexibility of our rental spaces, both inside and outside, we welcome you to reimagine your upcoming meeting, wedding or special event with us.
In addition to the cleaning and safety protocols the Riggs team has implemented, including limited space capacities, we encourage you to take advantage of new event packages and offerings including:
- Half-day rates
- The You & Me Wedding package (intimate weddings with 20-35 guests)
